A more serious post for the day... not for the light hearted, and not for the athieist... and you don't need to read on if you are one of the foregoing.

Came across this blog call Stuff Christians Like while reading another article on SMH... and I started to browse through it. Given my current state of mind, it must be fate that brought me to this particular post:- Wondering why God goes quiet sometimes.

A lot of things are happening at the moment, my gut feels like it's being turned inside out and viciously stabbed... the burning issue in front of me is a real hard nut to crack Over the past few days, I continue to question God where he is when I (actually, we) need him the most... why make things so difficult... why has he gone quiet...

Perhaps, as what the blog author wrote: "... please know that it might be that God loves you too much to remove it."

But am I strong enough to receive this love?

Coca Cola Contour Glass

今個weekend最開心就係收到呀K由香港寄嚟俾我哋嘅Coca Cola Contour Glass（早排香港麥當勞做promote，好似係買餐送杯）。好靚... 多謝呀K！

其實一套有六隻色，但屋企只有老公仔同我，所以兩隻就夠啦。除咗紫色同綠色，重有炭灰，青檸，粉紅同藍色。如果想要，我諗ebay都一定有得bid。

聽呀K講，英國麥當勞前排都有類似香港嘅promotion，不過佢哋就送Coca Cola嘅"Can Glass"，唔知遲D香港會唔會有呢？當然，如果澳洲有先，gum就緊係好，不過會發生嘅機會都幾微...

Tribe - Aveda Lifestyle Salon

Last week when we went to Kam Fook for dinner, I saw this pretty looking salon call Tribe, and noticed they are an Aveda Lifestyle Salon, so decided to give it a try.

The salon looks really nice, the interior has been designed well- obviously to attract people like me who likes to see and go to pretty places.

Once they've put a robe on me, they sat me down, and brought me this cup of really nice floral tea and a glass of water (reminded me of the good old VIP service I got at mtm... hahaa).

Before they washed my hair, I was given a hair massage with some divine smelling peppermint oil... then the hair washing experience was nice, I love the smell of their organic shampoo & conditioner...  the hair cutting experience was also good, no big drama (and I didn't have to think, just told him I want a decent cut), and I walked out with a tidied up hair and a new look.

Trenery

Found out about this store via email today.

Trenery is a new sub-line of Country Road. They are available at: Chatswood Chase, Westfield Bondi Junction, Canberra Centre, Highpoint Shopping Centre and Karrinyup (from 5 September, ie tomorrow).

At this stage I've only seen their stuff from the website so I've no idea of the actual cut, material and workmanship of their stuffs, but these items look quite interesting, see if I will make my way to one
of their stores this weekend for more retail therapy...

Bobbi Brown- Sheer Colour Cheek Tint

Went on a mission to get some new blush colour, and came across this Sheer Colour Cheek Tint from Bobbi Brown. Before the sales lady came to help me, I had my eye on the more browny colour, as I thought the brighter colour would look REALLY obvious on my tanned skin....

But contrary to my thinking, when the sales lady tried the Sheer Lilac on me, it's quite nice and natural. And being cream based, it gels on your face for longer and best of all, looks great. Another happy purchase from Bobbi Brown.
