I was trying the resist the temptation of buying more aveda products… I tried... and failed.
Went back to the salon on Saturday and bought the shampoo and conditioner set. Tried them yesterday, and they are REALLY GOOD, all those natural and organic stuffs can be felt INSTANTLY, no wonder they are so well known for their hair products (it's worth the bucks!).

Aveda Smooth Infusion Style-Prep Smoother
When I was at Tribe (an Aveda Lifestyle Salon) last weekend, the guy put some of those style-prep smoother thing on my hair and I instantly noticed the difference... real smooth, no fizz, and smells awesomely natural. But when I washed my hair, all these were GONE.
So after a few good days of thinking, I decided to get this little goodie today. I first checked it out on Strawberrynet, but found out when I got to the Aveda shop at QVB, that this is actually cheaper in the store than on the net.... interesting.
Next on my list will be their shampoo & conditioner... but lemme use up the ones I have at home first.

Mid-week treat- pizza lunch at Macchiato (Sydney CBD)
I met up with V for our weekly lunch today- after last week’s conversation on any surviving Pizza Hut dine-in stores in the city (she seems to recall that there is one somewhere on George Street, near the cinema… but I’m really not sure), we had a little craving for pizza, so we chose Macchiato for lunch today (I’ve once had their woodfire pizza for takeaway (part of a business lunch) and it was quite nice).
That’s what we ordered- BBQ Chicken Pizza, Wedges with Sour Cream & Sweet Chilli Sauce + Garden Salad. We couldn’t finish all the wedges, but if we have just ordered the pizza and salad, we would feel under fed… Anyway, all these just under $18pp, which is not bad for a café lunch in the CBD, good enough for it to be a mid-week treat.
As we left the café, I noticed that they are celebrating their 10th birthday this month, and running a special lunchtime promotion - every Monday of this month (ie 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th September), from 11:30am – 1pm (I think these are the time, but if you are interested, do double check with them beforehand) they have $10 pizza / pasta (dine in or takeaway). I didn’t notice any fine prints so if no other conditions apply, you can quite possibly get half-priced pizza from their place, and these are gourmet pizza (not just your standard supreme, or tropical hawaiian)… like Bombay Chicken, Shanghai Pizza (both are about $23 each) just to name a few…

Zymil
If you are lactose intolerant, you might find this useful.
Came across an ad for this Zymil Milk while browsing on the net. Went to their site and read about the milk and learned the science behind being lactose intolerant (which is embarrassing, considering all these years that I've been lactose intolerant myself).
Basically people who are lactose intolerant lacks a particular enzyme (call lactase) in their system, and this deficiency makes it difficult for the person's system to breakdown the lactose, which in turn causes discomfort in his/her stomach.
In Zymil, they claim that the lactose in the milk have already been broken down, so lactose intolerant people can comfortably drink this milk.
Having read about it, of course I've to try it myself. I have drank this as part of breakfast over the past few days, and my stomach has not been complaining... which is great news, cos I can finally have milk minus the stomach problem.
